One of the reasons why Fallout: New Vegas has the cult following it still boasts today is due to its wide range of unique and charming weapons players can get their hands on. The Holorifle, A Light In The Shining Darkness and Ranger Sequoia are all well-known amongst the community, but none come close to matching the sheer power of the CZ57 Avenger.

A variant of the standard railgun, the CZ57 Avenger is found in a blue truck in the Devil's Throat and still stands as the most powerful weapon in the game. When maxed out with Gun skills and perks, the Avenger is capable of producing a whopping 649.7 DPS rating.

Obviously wielding such a hefty item comes with certain drawbacks that some builds might be better steering clear of - the cumbersome mobility and reduced magazine size of 80 being the main two.

Nevertheless, the weapon still comes with a high-speed motor mod already attached, boasts a far greater rate of fire than any of its competitors and is far more accurate over longer distances, making it more than a match for any foe found on the Wastelands.
