Any who frequent the site may have already seen this piece (check it out if some things about Trevor's portrayal just didn't sit well with you) but even this far after GTA V's release it's hard to look at Rockstar's most disgusting character as anything other than a misfire. We get what they were trying to do, the whole 'he's actually you' thing; like when he decides to stomp a mudhole straight through Johnny Klebitz in a manner that mirrors just how much disregard you've had for any number of people on the streets of every city - but you've really got to dig deep and convince yourself that's the case. Instead everything about Trevor, from the controversial-for-the-sake-of-it torture scene to his treatment of 'best friend' Michael, and the butchering a some potential friends who he barges in on looking for a place to stay, makes it slightly embarrassing to say that one of gaming's most well-known and often championed characters is a murderous sadist with a penchant for cannibalism.
