10 Perfect Star Wars Video Game Ideas Everyone Is Ignoring

9. Han Solo: Smuggling Adventures

In many regards, Han Solo is the real hero of Star Wars; a normal, down-to-earth guy just trying to make a living in a hectic period of history, one who gets swept along by events out of his control and ends up having to save the galaxy. He doesn€™t have any special Force abilities, and isn€™t foretold by any prophecies €“ basically, he€™s us. We need a game about the early smuggling adventures of Han Solo and his contemporaries in and around the Kessel Run. Screw the Force, who needs it? It€™d be like being a pirate, but in space €“ building up your own gallery of rogues, spies and other illicit agents, going from port to port taking any job offering the right price, whether that be ferrying illegal cargo, looting ships and settlements, or helping rebel agents travel to destinations right under the nose of the Empire, and then selling them out for more cash. Then as you become more notorious, the more interesting and risky jobs become available €“ and bounty hunters become aware of your operations. It might not be an action-packed, all-systems-go shooting gallery, but the seedy underbelly of the galaxy is one of the most interesting parts of the lore €“ and done well, Han is our ticket to a guided tour.
