4. No More Batman - Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League

There are two reasons why all of the internet banded together to hate on Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League at the time of its release. One, because it was another entry in the dying genre of live service games. Two, because it was super dedicated to making itself an official sequel of the Batman Arkham series, solely so it could ruin its legacy.

According to Rocksteady's developers themselves, Suicide Squad is a direct and official followup to the Arkham series that takes place in the same universe. Why? Because they really wanted to tie their perfectly concluded story of Batman with a degrading scene of Harley shooting him in the head on a random park bench.

Yes, the years-long journey of Arkham's Bruce Wayne, who fought the most maniacal and disturbed villains, overcame a terminal disease, and foiled Scarecrow's plans despite having his secret identity exposed, ends with a pitiful death scene that isn't even consistent with the story of Suicide Squad itself (after all, Harley was meant to be over the Joker, but she shoots Batman to avenge his death).

What makes this crime against the loyal fans hurt even more is that Batman dying on a bench is the last performance of legendary Batman voice actor, Kevin Conroy, who unfortunately passed away a little before Suicide Squad was released.
