10 Perfect Video Games That NEVER Need To Be Remade
9. Half-Life
A tour-de-force in first-person narratives, Gordon Freeman's first adventure is a fantastic experience through one of the most immersive gaming worlds ever created. By putting the player squarely in the role of Freeman and never, ever deviating from his view as the events unfolded, Half-Life literally felt like you were involved in the game, deciding for yourself what your character would say, do and react to the events that transpired. Half-Life is one of those games that's so legendary, remaking it would almost be a slap in the face. Sure, Half-Life 2 and its two episodes were awesome, using the Valve Source engine to great effect, but there's little reason to go back and tweak something that was insanely awesome in the first place. Plus Valve need to get busy making Half-Life 2: Episode 3 or Half-Life 3 already. It's been like a bajillion years.
