10 Perfect Video Games That NEVER Need To Be Remade
7. Chrono Trigger
While Final Fantasy was busy with its active time battle system and all that, Chrono Trigger was busy smacking us in the face with its awesome environment-based combat system and amazing time-travelling action. Released way back when for the SNES, Chrono Trigger remains to this day one of the finest RPGs ever created. Taking place across several time periods where your actions legitimately matter, Chrono Trigger is also one of the games that paved the way for multiple endings based upon what you did, making it a rewarding multi-playthrough experience that was extremely rare back in the time of its release. Even to this day, Chrono Trigger still holds up exceptionally well. Playing through it remains a joy that keeps you hooked in a way most modern games can't and we challenge absolutely anyone to not ending up humming the soundtrack as you play through. Remaking Chrono would be to do it a disservice; instead, grab yourself a SNES and play it the way it was meant to be.
