10 Platinum Gaming Trophies That Were Literal Torture

4. Street Fighter V

Final fantasy 14
Capcom

The fifth and latest Street Fighter title started off with a lack of content and questionable design decisions, but has since gone on to fill in the missing gaps.

The series' excellent reputation in the fighting genre remains intact, with fans salivating over each major release. Unfortunately for aspiring trophy hunters, this also means the game reaches an unrelenting level of difficulty.

Surviving one hundred waves of survival mode on hell difficulty is tough enough, as is beating the story mode and levelling up characters. But just wait until you hit the game's online multiplayer

With the title having been out for several years, there's been plenty of time for the hardcore players to hone their skills to a razor edge, making mincemeat of anyone who dares challenge them in an online contest. Even if you somehow fight tooth and nail to the top of the leagues, you're still not done as Street Fighter V puts you through more grinding to unlock the move-based trophies.

Perform said special moves and V-moves an inordinate amount of times across all game modes? Check.

Clearly this platinum trophy is one that only the most skilled fighting game enthusiasts can acquire.
