7. Mr. Mime
So, I know what you're thinking. Mr. Mime? Really? Well, I'll admit that clowns aren't really as terrifying as everyone believes them to be. In fact, this one isn't even a tad bit creepy within the universe of the games. However, if you introduced this creature into the real world, it wouldn't be as cutesy as it appears in the image above. Mr. Mime has always been one of the more bizarre creatures to inhabit the Pokémon universe, and bizarre often translates into terror when you make the real world jump. Ignoring the fact that even the female variety are referred to as "Mr.", a kooky clown with psychic powers running around in the wild is just plain strange. Keep in mind that Mr. Mime would be a mammalian creature rather than some animated doll, and things take a turn for the worse. To get an idea of what this may look like, go ahead and Google "real life Mr. Mime." Throw in the ability to create invisible barriers to trap prey, as well as an assortment of psychic powers to mess with your head, and you've found a reason to fear clowns.
