10 Potential Problems With Fallout 4

8. Crafting Might Be A Bit Boring (Or Too Easy)

Whilst Bethesda are being careful to include a lot of fan-favourite concepts in Fallout 4, they're also introducing a lot of new mechanics to the franchise. Chief among them is a crafting system which is not unlike the method of building stuff in Minecraft. Instead of relying on blueprints and a technician, you can cobble together anything from anything. At least, that's what the company's pre-E3 presentation implied. All that useless trash you find in that nuclear wasteland is now not simply stuff to jam up your inventory, but can be used to put together everything from gadgets to weapons to ornaments for your home. At least, that's the idea. Depending on how well-integrated and devised the crafting system is, it could be a complete waste of time that rarely yields anything useful, or else it could be a game-breaking mechanic with which the internet figures out how to make the ULTIMATE WEAPON in seconds and then coast through every single battle.
