10 Potential Superhero Video Games (And Who Should Make Them)

7. Green Arrow: Guerrilla Games

Green Arrow Annual #1
DC Comics

I'll admit, it was hard not to consider Crystal Dynamics for Green Arrow duty, given the similarities between their Tomb Raider reboot and Oliver Queen's Cast Away-style origin story, but then came along Horizon, and, well, the rest is history.

Any title to feature the Emerald Archer really has to nail the feel of a bow, and Horizon - with all its crafting and Ollie-esque trick arrows - easily illustrated Guerrilla's talents when it comes to nailing ranged combat. Couple that with the fact that Ollie and Aloy fight and move in very similar ways, and it almost seems too obvious how well suited Guerrilla are to tackle Green Arrow on screen.

It's not as if there's a shortage of ways to tackle the character either; an origin story, situated during Ollie's time on the island, is prime video game material, as is a story situated at the peak of his career in Star City. Either way it's an ideal fit, and one I could surely see Guerrilla making a success given the opportunity.
