10 Problems That Stop Popular Video Game Companies Being Perfect

1. Konami Has No Respect For Their Franchises

SILENT HILLS
Konami

Between the likes of Metal Gear Solid and Silent Hill, Konami has the ability to blow fans away with new entries into classic franchises, but it seemingly has zero interest in doing so.

Because instead of focusing on releasing quality blockbuster games based on these properties, Konami is content to use the name value of these revered titles to sell shoddy budget games, quick cash grabs and pachinko machines.

With the cancellation of Silent Hills, the complete disaster that was Metal Gear Solid V's development and the recent announcement of Metal Gear Survive, it's clear that Konami isn't interested in the world of big budget game development anymore.

They have every right to change their focus, but fans can't help but complain when some of the most influential franchises in the business have to be sacrificed as a result.
