10 Problems With FIFA Games Die-Hard Fans Won't Admit
8. It's Still Too Easy To Rage Quit
Whilst rage-quitting yourself may be somewhat more understandable if the entire game is going against you (more on this later), it is far more frustrating if you are unable to complete a game because you're simply too good and your opponents can't handle it.
Rage-quitting has long been a part of online competitive multiplayer, such as in Call of Duty or Battlefield, but as these are multiplayer-based games, it is rare to see a match end prematurely through an entire enemy team backing out to the main menu. Only in FIFA will you potentially see a game end because you've gone a goal up in the 2nd minute.
EA have tried to implement a system in which the player is punished through reducing your match rewards if you continuously quit out early, but when the rewards are so little in the in-game economy to begin with, players are quite content to take the hit and just quit.
