10 Promising 2020 Video Games You Must Consider

Psychonauts 2 seems to be heading for a similar sort of trajectory to MediEvil, which is due out later this month. It’s a full blown sequel rather than a remake, but other than that there’s a lot of similarities.

Both games were cult classics which never quite established themselves as household names, but both were beloved by their respective fans and have generated a lot of excitement in the run up to their sequel or remake. However, that excitement seems to be being built up by only a small section of the market, with MediEvil set to be drowned out this month by a host of bigger titles.

Even the Halloween tie in going for it is trounced by Luigi’s Mansion 3.

Psychonauts 2, despite being a long awaited sequel, has a real sense of bubbling under to its hype. With no release date aside from 2020 yet known, things could well heat up before it actually drops. Given the quality of the first Psychonauts game and what little we’ve seen so far, it certainly deserves more fanfare.

Few games personify the phrase ‘hidden gem’ as Psychonauts did.
