10 Rage Quit Moments That Made Us Leave Video Games Forever
7. Dealing With A**holes - GTA Online
GTA Online is the gift that keeps on giving. Yeah, it might be a grind to acquire enough wealth to join in with Rockstar's constant stream of new activities, but there's a reason why the multiplayer mode is still going strong over four years after it launched. Whether you're playing alone or with friends, causing untold anarchy never gets old.
The only problem is other players.
It might sound a little strange to champion a multiplayer suite and then say its biggest problem is other people, but GTA Online brings out the worst in players. In free roam especially, it's incredibly easy to strike up an unspoken war with someone else, as they chase you across the map, pummelling you with bullets and rockets.
It's not too annoying when you have the means to fight back, but with the inclusion of super tanks and literal flying cars that can shoot rockets at you from the sky, sometimes there's nothing you can do to combat these griefers other than switch over to passive mode - which, let's face it, as an admission that you've lost.
When this happens, it feels like you're being bullied by the rich kid in school who can afford fancier toys than you. Come to think of it, this dynamic is probably the best comment on Capitalism the GTA series has ever made.
