10 Rare Video Game Items You Had ONE CHANCE To Obtain
5. Fade Statues - Dragon Age: Origins
One of the more interesting parts of Dragon Age: Origins is the sequence inside the Mage's Tower. You need to liberate it from an infestation of demons, but halfway through your way to the top, you end up getting trapped inside a nightmare dimension by a demon, which puts you and your companions to sleep.
The realm is a mental prison that slowly drains you of your life; however, this doesn't mean you should rush towards the exit. The demon's nightmare is actually filled with unique items that you won't be able to access if you escape.
Throughout the different stages of the nightmare, the player can stumble upon ominous-looking statues. There are twenty-one of them in total, and they each permanently increase your attributes by one. If you have the patience to try and find all of them, the amount of bonus they cumulatively apply is roughly the equivalent of seven level-ups.
Given that no other part of the game offers you the chance to get bonuses like this, trying to obtain the perks of every single statue in the Fade is incredibly useful. Even if it means letting some demon poke around inside your head for a bit.
