Minecraft's deaths all come with custom and vibrantly detailed messages describing how the particular player met their end. These descriptions take different things into consideration, like what took the player's last bit of health and what creature they were fighting at the time of their death, making each of them feel quite unique.

This said, if you want to wow a Minecraft server with a death message that happens to a player once in their cubical life, then you better get struck by lightning.

Like in real life, lightning strikes in Minecraft are as lethal as they are rare. They are almost always guaranteed to kill you if you're unlucky to get hit by one, but even if you are wearing metal armory that increases the chances of being struck, the thunderstorm is still more likely to target a tree or a random mob in the area.

For this reason, deaths by lightning are a special phenomenon that is more likely to strike (no pun intended) your friends with awe rather than make them laugh at your demise.

Although if we're being honest, they're probably going to laugh anyway.
