10 Real Endings Hidden In DLC

7. Tomb Raider: Underworld

The Callisto Protocol

And now for one of the all-time most ridiculous instances of a game's real ending being carved off for DLC, because in the case of Tomb Raider: Underworld, said DLC was made Xbox 360-exclusive and still hasn't been officially released on any other platform.

The main game wraps up with Lara Croft seemingly defeating Jaqueline Natla for good, forming an uneasy truce with Amanda Evert, and saying farewell to her late mother.

But the DLCs "Beneath the Ashes" and "Lara's Shadow" continue the story further, revealing that both Natla and the Lara doppelganger survived.

The real ending ultimately sees the doppelganger turn on Natla, leaving her to drown and die, apparently for good.

And yet, unless you were playing on Xbox or were willing to resort to underhanded means to emulate the Xbox version on PC, you had to settle for just... watching how the story really ended on YouTube.

Let's say it altogether now - console-exclusive DLC sucks.
