10 Reasons Battle Royale Is Dying

7. No Lasting Memorability

Most games these days are full of expertly crafted graphics and detailed story modes that there is usually something for everyone to love about the latest releases.

But the very best games in the business bring an element of nostalgia to the table to give those older gamers a blast from the past or that lovely warm feeling inside we all enjoy while playing out favourite titles.

There's a considerable lack of this in the Battle Royale modes currently on offer, subsequently leading to some gamers simply not getting enough out of the mode.

It would be brilliant to see throwbacks within Battle Royale modes taking people back to what made them fall in love with gaming in the first place.

A cheeky sub-game within a game of Battle Royale which sees you collect those rings or work your way out of ghost ridden maze wouldn't go amiss, while what wouldn't there be to love about seeing some of your favourite characters being available for selection.

Think Fortnite, only with Mario, Sonic or Alex the Kid rather than some generic skin.
