10 Reasons Battlefield 5 Is Actually Great
8. Plethora Of Game Modes
The online shooter typically boils down to a few popular game modes. Team Death Match, Capture the Flag and Domination are the usual suspects, but Battlefield V offers up additional modes and better variants on existing ones.
The most popular of the bunch are Conquest and Breakthrough, with the former being a wide-scale version of Domination and the latter an excellently vicious section-based mode. Yet Battlefield also offers up the extended Grand Operations which provide multiple game modes over the course of “days”, allowing players to put in some serious time, past the already half-hour plus game modes.
On top of this BFV offers limited-time modes such as “Cats and Dogs” which dumped players in the middle of vision-impairing storms, meaning that there is that something new and extra to jump into each time you return to the game.
Through its varied modes, players can pick and chose how they reach the battlefield, whether it be for a ten-minute game or one pushing an hour.
