It's been announced recently that Telltale Games, who did a top notch job adapting the Walking Dead into the episodic game format, are giving Game of Thrones the same treatment. This can only be exciting news, as there's so much ground to cover within the show's universe and Telltale's trademark episodic style suits George R.R. Martin's series perfectly. With the high caliber of storytelling from the studio, it's a pretty safe bet that it will be a riveting experience for fans of the books and the show. We know that they are collaborating with HBO in the creation of the game, but this - of course - doesn't rule out delving into A Song of Ice and Fire's vast amounts of source material for inspiration. Telltale Games are being rather guarded with information at the moment, but that's no reason not to get excited already. All we have to go off thus far is an announcement trailer, and while details are extremely limited, there's always room for speculation... which is exactly what I'll be doing here. As I'm discussing the show, please expect that there will be some SPOILERS.
