Honestly highlighting this feels like pointing out that there was no fly in your soup or that the postman was kind enough not to leave a flaming bag of dog poop at your door. But still it feels good to point out that yes the expansion pass and planned content were announced before launch, none of it includes microtransactions.
At least, not yet.
The idea of people being able to buy additional rupees or bag upgrades with real world money might have a certain allure for Nintendo to pick it up. And I’m pretty sure I’m under the radar enough that I can’t be blamed if it happens. Still, with no plans announced this close to the day, we should consider ourselves in the clear.
