10 Reasons Nobody Cares About The Kinect

9. The Space

In order to get the most out of your Kinect, it requires you to make a lot of space, so upon purchasing one, be prepared to start rearranging furniture. People I know who have the Kinect have to move their couch back every time they want to use it, which is actually a bit of a hassle. It may not seem it, but this can be quite an annoyance and can deter you from playing a Kinect game. Who wants to come home and chill with a game after a long day at work only to have to move the furniture? This becomes increasingly problematic when multiplayer is concerned. Don€™t make enough room, and you€™ll inevitably smack your friend in the face while flailing your arms like a spaze. If you€™ve already got a huge, expansive house, fine, but for the rest of us, this means making even more room than before. And for those who live in an apartment or small house, multiplayer is probably impossible. The Kinect was touted as a unifier; something to be experienced with friends and family, but it makes it very hard to do so for many people, so why bother?
