10 Reasons PS Vita Is Easily Better Than Nintendo Switch

5. Gorgeous Graphics With Less Processor Strain

Breath of the Wild and Mario & Rabbids are suitably gorgeous and visually arresting (seriously, they're beautiful, beautiful games), but if we're championing the prowess of hardware manufacturers and coding teams to replicate "the home console experience on the go", the Vita has a swathe of lookers, too.

Uncharted: Golden Abyss is the main one; the game's cutscenes could almost be side by side with their PS3 brethren, but Call of Duty and Killzone both hold up their end of the bargain.

It's clear the Vita was far easier to code for than the disastrous, third party-annoying PS3, and the Vita enjoys scores of titles showcasing huge environments, stylish one-offs and everything in between.

This is the only category where we can get lost in the weeds analysing what "best graphics" even are, but it's worth noting that the Vita was contending with current home console tech back in 2011 - a point lost when saying the Switch is the first portable system to do so.
