10 Reasons Spider-Man PS4 Is The PERFECT Spider-Man Movie
6. Looks Stunning From Beginning To End
When Spidey shows up on the silver screen, you know you're in for a dazzling display of action with brilliant cinematography and a rousing soundtrack to back it up.
The likes of Sam Raimi and Bill Pope have given us some of the best looking sequences featuring the character, and Spider-Man's more recent appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe only raised the bar.
Spider-Man for PS4 is more than a match for these cinematic efforts, perhaps even topping them in some areas, as Insomniac squeeze a ton of power out the Playstation 4 hardware.
We've already mentioned the way New York City loads seamlessly in the background, but when it comes to the core action itself, the game never skips a beat. The frame rate is silky smooth throughout, the level of detail on ground level in the city is stunning, and there's all kinds of destructive effects firing off when the webhead takes on a villain.
Electro's appearance in the third act is a particular highlight as he showers the industrial areas with lightning blasts. The game looks even better on a PS4 Pro with the game's final boss boasting a whopping one million polygons.
