10 Reasons We Need Bloodborne 2 Instead Of Dark Souls 4

9. To Fix PVP

PVP is a massive part of every single Souls-like game and it can often lead to some of the most fun experiences in the entire game. And out of all the games, Bloodborne had some of the most fun and insane fights in the series and easily the most fun PVP experience in all the games. It was quick, frantic and due to the influx of healing items the fights could last ages. Not to mention one on three fights still felt incredibly fair due to the quick combat.

But through a needlessly complicated system of bell-ringing maidens and specific areas and a variety of small things, the PVP was not only difficult to get into, but quite daunting. Which was a shame because once you were in, it was brilliant, rivalling some of the hardest bosses for difficulty and the most fun for enjoyment factor.

A sequel could not only fix those problems, but build on them. An arena would be one of the most likely introductions and the one that would be making the game brilliant. But general tweaks to the current formula would be most welcome and would make the PVP more engaging and easy to get into.

Which in turn increases the number of players engaging PVP, increasing the invasions for normal players and everyone wins. And who doesn’t like winning?

I like video games, writing and writing about video games. Expect sarcasm and the dry wit of a Brit. And the occasional rant of a unhappy Scot. You know... the usual.
