10 Reasons Why Project Zomboid Is The Best Zombie Game Ever

3. It's Brutally Realistic

When you really think about it, it’s kind of crazy how many things can kill you. High falls, starvation, dehydration, a crazed maniac biting you in the neck.

Zomboid knows this and will have you thinking about everything you do and everything around you. You must keep your character fed with some cans of food, well hydrated with safe-to-drink water, and well rested on some kind of bed. You also have to keep their mental health in mind, as the stressful situation of the apocalypse can have your character become depressed or panicked.

Finding and equipping thicker clothes can protect you better from zombie attacks but can also overheat you if you aren’t careful. Even simple things like closing the curtains when you are exploring a house are important, as they can prevent zombies outside seeing you, and save you from becoming a tasty meal. If you would have to worry about it in a real zombie apocalypse, then you will have to do it in Project Zomboid.
