10 Reasons Why Sly Cooper Deserves A Reboot

There are so many different members of the Cooper Clan than the five that we were introduced to in the fourth game. Now that time travel is a possibility in this universe, it only makes sense that we would continue to return back in time to see more of the relatives that we have heard so much about.

Two of the ancestors spoken about throughout the series is Slytunkhamen Cooper the I and II, who developed the invisibility skill and the Cooper Clan vault respectively. They are both from Ancient Egypt, which is coincidentally where we find our hero at the end of the fourth game.

In addition to these two, we have his pirate ancestor Henriette Cooper that had a cooper hook for a hand, Otto Van Cooper who created schematics for the plane that they use, and Slaigh MacCooper who created the wall edge move used frequently throughout the series.

On top of all of this, we know that Sly’s father was murdered at the start of the first game, but allowing him to go back in time and have an emotional reuniting with his deceased father would be something that would really take these games to the next level.
