10 Reasons Why We're Still Playing Skyrim

1. It's Better Than Real Life

I'm only 22 years old and I am admittedly still hoping, but thus far in my life I have not received any indication that I am destined to become the saviour of our world against a magical and evil force. In Skyrim, however, that is exactly who I am. Skyrim's premise is simple but fascinating. All of the other nine reasons listed here certainly contribute to why we are all still playing Skyrim, but the most important and simplest one of all is that it is just so cool. The freedom and power that your character is able to call upon in Skyrim never gets old, and the dynamic levelling system allow for a drastice change to your play style to implemented quickly and with ease. Tired of hacking your enemies to pieces with swords and axes? Switch to a bow and arrow and you'll very soon become just as proficient a killing machine with those. Destruction spells wiping out all your enemies with no challenge? Switch to illusion and see how well you can sneak your way around castle hideouts and haunted caves. The possibilities available through Skyrim's simple premise are virtually endless; you can play out tons of different strategies before even having to consider starting a new character. So when looking for the reasons you're still playing ten months down the line know that, although there are a ton of contributing factors, the most influential is the power and ability that Bethesda have given you while you explore their incredible region of Skyrim. FUS RO DAH!
