10 Reasons You Should Be Playing The Elder Scrolls Online
7. An Impossibly Large World To Explore
Part of the joy of Skyrim was the fact that it was so big. Walking from one end of the map to the other not only took forever, but was likely to fill your journal with dozens of quests. ESO is no different and in fact It goes above and beyond in terms of game world.
With more than a dozen areas, each with their own over-arching plotline contributing to the main storyline, there is more than enough Tamriel to explore. With regions in High Rock and even Black Marsh, the variety of terrain to trek through is staggering. Not to mention each smaller region is chock full of caves and dungeons and places of notable worth.
So anyone who simple loves the exploration of the elder scrolls needs to pick up ESO because the level of detail and expansive areas to explore will keep any budding wanderer busy for years on end. I got the game last year and have only visited two thirds of the explorable game world. Not to mention you can explore Coldharbour… and the areas that aren’t marked on the map. And Cyrodil. And the DLC if you buy it.
Phew!
