10 Reasons You Should Give No Man's Sky Another Chance

9. Animals That Look Believable

Hello Games

When Hello Games announced that not only will every planet be totally different, but some will also have totally unique species of animal, I was excited, but also sure I was going to be let down. On playing NMS first time around I was proved totally right as I stepped out onto my starter planet and spotted an absolute aberration coming towards me.

No joke, it had the body of a sabertooth tiger, the head of a fish and the legs of a goat. I get that it’s an alien world but evolution is still a thing, how did this goat/tiger/fish survive millions of years?

But now Hello Games have vastly improved how animals are put together. Not only to animals look more realistic - as much as that is possible - but the way they interact with the player is markedly different. Not all animals will simply attack or flee, some will come over to take a look at your ship when you land, whilst others will flee, all making for interactions that are far more engaging for the player.
