10 Reasons You're Wrong About Star Wars Battlefront

10. Walker Assault Is Unbalanced (And That's The Point)

One of the biggest criticisms recently leveled at Battlefront was how imbalanced the Walker Assault mode on Hoth was. Since the Imperials are on the offensive armed with superior firepower, the Rebels don€™t really have a chance. The result is that the Empire wins almost every time. Many people didn€™t like this, but I found it unique and refreshing. It€™s not often that you play a multiplayer game that is intentionally one-sided, and it creates a different dynamic. One side has to play harder and smarter, and while this makes victory significantly less likely, it also makes the times the Rebels do win all the more rewarding. I remember feeling so satisfied after every time I won as the Rebels. I felt like my team beat the odds, and it made victory all the sweeter. The way the mode is designed really makes the Empire feel like a threat and adds to the atmosphere of the game. The Rebellion should be at a disadvantage; they are rebels, it is their nature to be the underdogs. And when the underdogs overcome adversity and win, it€™s a genuinely good feeling.
