8. Calamity Ganon - The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild
Ganon is the antagonist of the Legend of Zelda franchise. Although he is built up as the deadliest threat in Hyrule, he is usually pretty easy to beat. By the time you reach the end of a Zelda game, your character, Link, will be so overpowered with Hearts, Fairies, and Half-Damage Tunics, you are borderline invincible.
That is not the case with Calamity Ganon; the final boss of Breath of the Wild. You need to come at this guy with as many upgrades as possible to stand the slightest chance of defeating him.
Even if you have the strongest armour and maximum hearts, Ganon can kill you in two strikes. You need to constantly heal as he unleashes lasers, flames, and sword swipes.
When you stun him, you have seconds to slash the crap out of him before he recovers. He has a ton of energy so every hit counts. Do not think about entering Ganon's castle unless you are in the possession of the Master Sword.
It is possible to beat him without this sacred blade, but it won't be easy.
