10 Recent Video Game Levels That Made You Rage Quit
7. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order - Bogano
On the starting planet Bogano, Fallen Order demonstrates the hallmarks of a Soulsborne game, including leaving the player to figure out their own path through the level.
Parts of the map are inaccessible, requiring force powers you don't know that you need. The game doesn't tell you where to go, or how to get there.
The clunky controls will find you plummeting over the edge during a seemingly innocuous jump more than once. Harmless looking enemies like the Splox will do a surprising amount of damage to an unprepared player.
Towards the end of the level, players will more than likely run into Ogdo Bogdo, a monstrous hell toad on steroids, who, in a game featuring lightsaber wielding Sith, is also one of the hardest villains you will face in the game.
It's an optional boss fight, but the game doesn't tell you that; it can easily kill you in two to three hits. By this point, you are more likely to just give up and play a more forgiving game. Just don't tell anyone it's because a toad got the better of you.
