6. Uncharted 4 - No Escape
This level starts off safely enough, swinging from cliff face to cliff face in classic Uncharted fashion, making your way down to a beach. Suddenly, mercenaries emerge from a cave chasing after Nate's brother, leaving Nate to rush down to the beach to rescue him.
Soldiers will attack Nate from all angles, killing him in seconds, and any cover you do find will be quickly shot away. To work their way down to the beach, players will have to flit from shipwreck to shipwreck under a near unending hail of gunfire.
There is no worse feeling in a game when climbing and simultaneously being shot at, completely unable to defend yourself. On the harder difficulties, Nate's health recovery time is massively slowed, turning the battle into a slugfest.
No sooner has the player taken a breather and collected some ammo, then a couple of Juggernauts, who are veritable bullet sponges, will advance towards you in a bullet storm.
By the time you've played this opening section of the level, you might feel the need to put down the controller and take a break.
