10 Richest Video Gamers In The World Today

1. Tyler "Ninja" Blevins

Net worth: $15 million

The proclaimed "King of Twitch" has remained the front page of all things Fortnite ever since the game hit the big time in 2017.

He had, however, already been renowned before this for his skill on the sticks, but his career skyrocketed when he started championing the then little unknown game, streaming on Twitch and destroying his opponents with skill and tricks no one at that point had ever seen before.

Soon he developed a vast army of followers on the streaming giant, and his skills only improved. Now he was raking in money from two angles: streaming and competitions. His timing could not have been better. With Twitch growing into a website that rivalled YouTube with its gaming output, and video gaming as an esport growing at an incredible rate, Ninja had hit the jackpot.

Being able to turn up to huge tournaments, return with prize money, and then head onto the PC and stream and earn even more, it’s been an endless cycle of profit for the 28-year-old, who probably has to pinch himself every time he goes to bed.
