10 Richest Video Gamers In The World Today

7. Syed “Sumail” Hassan

Net worth: $3.3 million

Syed “Sumail” Hassan is a professional DOTA 2 player from Karachi, Pakistan. He played for and had much success with pro team Evil Geniuses but since has left the roster to pursue something else. One of the youngest players on our list, he is, however, one of the highest-earning professional gamers on the planet. Playing DOTA since the age of 8, it seemed that Sumail was destined for greatness, learning and improving at the game profoundly from a very young age. He won at the DOTA 2 Asia Championships in 2015, helping Evil Geniuses attain the title at the age of 15, becoming one of the youngest players in gaming history to win such an award.

Consequently, Sumail was featured in Time Magazine's most influential teenagers of 2016, becoming the only DOTA 2 player at the time to ever make it into the magazine's awards. He is the youngest player to ever win at both an official Valve event and an International, winning the 2015 competition when only 15.

He also loves pizza, enough to eat it every two days without fail. Maybe that’s the key ingredient to gaming greatness?
