10 Ridiculous Dungeons And Dragons Enemies You Won't Believe Exist
2. Sibriex
There are some pretty messed up creatures in Dungeons and Dragons. In a world where heaven and hell are tangible places, there are going to be some encounters with horrific creatures. There are none as horrifying as the Sibriex.
This creature is a grotesque ancient demon that is made up of rotting flesh and abyssal matter. The smell of rotten vegetation waffs across you as you notice all the blood and bile flowing from it. Where ever they tread they kill the plants around them. These a truly evil creature.
Like most from that plane of existence, they enjoy death and destruction. Taking joy in tormenting any that are weaker than them. They are also cowards however. They will avoid any creature stronger or smarter than them. They spend much of their time accumulating power, often through knowledge.
When engaged in combat a Sibriex can be a powerful foe. First, they will try to melt you with their acidic bile. If that doesn’t work, they have many other tricks. The Sebriex is an innate spellcaster. It has a multitude of spells that it can use to command and charm the party onto its side. If this all fails to work, it can poison unprepared adventurers. This causes increasing levels of exhaustion until they eventually die.
This is one weird creature. It may be powerful, but it is hard to get away from the fact that is it a floating ball of rotten flesh.
