10 Scariest Video Game DLCs Ever

6. Alien: Isolation - Crew Expendable

Dead By Daylight
SEGA

This DLC is interesting as it’s the first on this list that introduces events that aren’t canon to its universe. Set after Samuel Brett’s death in Alien (1979), it offers an alternative series of events in which the crew devise a plan to get rid of the on-board Xenomorph by launching it out of the air-lock.

The player has to guide the Xenomorph toward the airlock, sealing doors along the way to keep the plan moving. Alongside the base game, it has huge appeal to fans of the original film, with its setting being a dutiful and largely accurate recreation of the Nostromo.

With the claustrophobic journey through the ship and interesting interactions with fellow crew-mates it is a love-letter to the film, allowing players to step into the shoes of one of the characters in their favourite movies.

With the Xenomorph just around the corner and the fate of the Nostromo on the line, the stakes are high and the atmosphere suitably tense. If you want to experience a scene of the well-loved seventies classic for yourself, then this concise but effective DLC is for you.
