10 Scariest Video Game DLCs Ever

5. Resident Evil 7 - End Of Zoe

Dead By Daylight
Capcom

One of two DLCs that arrived after the release of Resident Evil 7, this one is notable for the tension it adds to the situation when depriving the player of firearms. Turns out that when you can’t defend yourself by shooting an enemy from afar, things can get pretty hairy up close.

The story sees a now calcified Zoe being rescued by her uncle, Joe. He must survive swamplands and quarantine areas alike in order to find a cure for Zoe’s deteriorating state, all the while having only melee weapons and his own two hands for self-defence.

This DLC introduces a new kind of Molded in the form of the ‘Double Blade Molded’, an even grosser version of what we’ve gotten used to. Both arms take the form of huge, hulking blades and spines protrude grotesquely from the beasts’ heads.

With its departure from the classic ‘all guns blazing’ approach, it offers something interesting even if the story is not essential to the experience of the game proper.
