10 Scariest Villains Of The Decade (So Far)

Ventriloquy is the kind of thing that most people find bone-chillingly creepy even when it's trying its darnedest to be cute. As such, mixing it with an unhinged, grotesque psycho with a split personality is one hell of a recipe for terror. Trust Outlast to make such a choice. 

Mother Gooseberry is a sickening antagonist from The Outlast Trails. She's a former children's TV show presenter who has given up on Mr Rogers-style programming and instead turned to grisly murder. This is reflected in her monstrous design, with a deformed face covered by a bleach-white skin mask that appears like a misguided attempt to look friendly and inviting. 

This dreaded mother is also a buy-one-get-one-free horrorshow thanks to her other half, Dr Flutterman. This refers to the duck puppet she wields, which acts as a second, far more aggressive personality. As if that wasn't already deranged enough, Dr Flutterman also has a drill inside his beak that Gooseberry uses to mutilate people. Lovely.
