3. Guild Wars - Abaddon Doesn't Take Too Kindly To Dancing

Although it never quite reached the popularity of World of Warcraft, the Guild Wars series nonetheless has a large fanbase - and even more so with the release of Guild Wars 2. Rich in lore and with compelling questlines, there's little doubt that the games are some of the best of the genre. The original game's Nightfall campaign is arguably its most interesting.

It challenges players to defeat the evil god Abaddon, Lord of Secrets, who had been sealed away aeons ago but was on the verge of coming back into the world, leading it into eternal darkness and suffering. Commanding a group of Sunspears, the opposing faction, players have to prevent Abaddon's rebirth into the world before it's too late. This all comes to a head in one final showdown between the Sunspears and Abaddon himself.

However, it turns out that Abaddon really hates it if you don't take him seriously. Like most games, Guild Wars has emotes that players can use, and one of these is to perform a dance. If the party uses the dance emote in the final mission against Abaddon, he gets very angry indeed - and smites you all on the spot. Mission failed - back to the outpost with you until you show the final boss some respect.

Though strangely enough, he doesn't react to the taunt emote. Maybe he's just anti-fun.
