5. Take The Time To Give The Serial Killer His Due Process - Red Dead Redemption 2
Red Dead Redemption 2's attention to detail is unmatched.
There are many quests with alternate outcomes for even the most unorthodox player choice. This also includes the hidden quest line in which you track down a serial killer.
Although you might have to put in a lot of time in order to see it.
After Arthur or John confronts the notorious murderer in his lair, the maniac knocks them down and prepares to torture them. You get the option to retaliate before he manages to kill you, and here is where most people end the quest by staggering the killer and then putting one between his eyes.
However, if you keep your weapon holstered and instead hogtie the culprit, it turns out that the game will allow you to deliver him to the sheriff.
Doing so requires significantly more time and effort, but as a reward, you get a special cutscene in which the sheriff attempts to lock the killer down. The culprit will lunge at him before he can close the cell door, giving you a reason to put him down for good.
The cutscene makes for a far more interesting resolution to the questline, and as a bonus, you get a cash reward for saving the sheriff!
