9. Are You A Bad Enough Dude To Rescue Ronnie? Bad Dudes
Bad Dudes is a title that sells a video game instantly. Blunt and awesome in equal parts, you know from the second you hear the title that this isnt going to be a pedestrian game. Bad Dudes is a side-scrolling beat-em-up featuring two Bad Dudes on a mission to save the President. Thats a pretty standard game plot though, right? Dont worry; Bad Dudes is a whole lot wackier than your average President-saving adventure. The game begins with the astounding line: President Ronnie has been kidnapped by the ninjas. Are you a bad enough dude to rescue Ronnie? Better yet, that line is delivered by a Secret Service agent, somebody who follows orders directly from the President; its amazing really that he can feel so comfortable with his employer that hes willing to call him Ronnie. Of course, lets also consider the fact that we have to be bad enough to rescue President Ronnie; a goal worth chasing if there ever was one. Best of all, finishing the game, becoming a bad enough dude and rescuing Ronnie results in the Bad Dudes going out for a burger with the main man himself. All games should tell stories this awesome.
