1. Feudal Japan

The concept of an Assassin's Creed game based in Feudal Japan is something that fans have been hoping for since the franchise became serialised. There is an excellent reason for this, and it comes in the fact that this location and setting is utterly perfect for it.

This time of warring clans and battling emperors was an incredibly bloody and violent period of history for this country. Warfare was everywhere, and thanks to this, there are plenty of opportunities to insert Assassins into the mix.

The art style of this game would look utterly gorgeous, as the armour of samurai is visually fascinating, and the architecture of the period has a similar appeal to it. In addition to this, the unique weaponry could be very well adapted into the franchise.

A focus on stealth and assassination would feel comfortably at home in this setting and would juxtapose to the harsh battles that could also take place.

If Ubisoft were to run with this concept, it could be one of the best Assassin's Creed games in the series.
