Who the heck praises a mobile game these days? And a freemium one, at that! I know what you're all thinking; this list is tailored to the Instagram generation - the kids who can't game on a console because the thought of dropping their iPhone away from their eyes for more than a second is akin to suffering eternity in purgatory. Well, it isn't! Spider-Man Unlimited is actually a remarkably fun experience and it's one that you can enjoy without spending a penny of your real money. Taking the Temple Run style, players control Spidey through the streets and over the rooftop's of a New York that's fallen under siege against Sinister Six members from a variety of different Marvel universes. Sound like a lot for one Spider-Man to take on? You bet, so it's a good thing that help can be recruited along the way in the form of a myriad of other Spider heroes. From the skulking Spider-Man Noir to the recent sensation Spider-Gwen, there are tons of heroes to collect and battle through New York with. The scoring is fun and competitive, and it's the only game app I've had on my phone for months.
