10 Sidelined Nintendo Characters That Deserve Their Own Game

10. Professor E. Gadd

Luigi's Mansion was a little controversial when it arrived as a launch title for the Gamecube, since people were hoping for a new Mario platformer instead. It turned out to be great fun though, and introduced an amazing character to the Mario universe: Professor E. Gadd. Responsible for inventing Luigi's Ghostbusters-esque Poltergust 3000 and Mario€™s F.L.U.D.D device from Mario Sunshine, E.Gadd has earned himself a lot of love from fans for more than his excellent name and lovely lab coat. Just think €“ the Mario brothers have both been kidnapped, Yoshi is off on holiday to Spain, and the only man who can save the heroic plumbers is Professor E.Gadd, armed with a plethora of crazy inventions the player can use to defeat enemies and traverse environments. There€™s so much awesome gameplay potential for this pint-sized scientist and his inventions.
