10 Simple Ways Rockstar Could Ruin GTA 6
10. Bringing Back Forced Socialisation
Niko Bellic's serious tale of New York's seedy crime underbelly bubbling beneath the surface and threatening his American dream was undermined when cousin Roman kept popping up every two minutes to talk about bloody bowling. That kind of forced socialisation was a stain on GTA 4's copy book, and it was thankfully removed come 5's release.
If Rockstar don't repeat that decision and think they can go thick on the social aspect again, then it'll ruin 6.
Sure, having the option to hang out with secondary characters is a nice way to immerse gamers in the GTA universe, but (and this is a big but) it shouldn't feel as contrived as it did in Liberty City. The flimsy relationship mechanic, during which friends became p*ssed off if Niko dared say no to their plans, would need addressing big time.
There are more important aspects of GTA fans would rather Rockstar spent time honing. Nobody would feel particularly upset if GTA 6 didn't feature those "hilarious" post-pub scenes which see your protag stumbling their way down the street.
