10 Star Wars Games EA Must Make After Jedi: Fallen Order

8. A Rogue-Like

Rogue-Likes are one of the most popular form of indie games on the market right now, and it isn't hard to see why. The very nature of the genre (i.e randomly generated...well pretty much everything, if we're being honest) makes it a dream come true for the low budget DIY indie game dev. But that doesn't mean the big boys can't play either.

Lord knows EA would jump at the chance to make a game whose levels don't have to be fussed over to perfection. Which is why the next Star Wars game should be a Rogue-Like.

It's not like it wouldn't work either, just make the player character a random Jedi or rebel soldier to explain away where all these guys are coming from. And make the area they're running into an Empire base that sprawls underground and is filled with traps and enemies that, of course, randomly spawn from room to room.

True it would probably work best as a mobile or handheld game, but there's nothing wrong with that. So long as EA holds itself back from its usual proclivities with those fields, of course.
