10 Star Wars Games EA Must Make After Jedi: Fallen Order

7. Revived Jedi Knight

Star Wars: Jedi Knight was one of the more interesting mini-franchises to come out of Lucasarts' glory days of video game development. Though technically starting off with Star Wars Dark Forces, the series didn't really nail down its gameplay until Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, and its sequel Jedi Outcast.

Done right, a revival of this series would be the best of both worlds, having both the lightsaber combat of Jedi: Fallen Order, and the tight responsive shooting of Battlefront 2. But of course the main problem is where to set it. The Jedi Knight games were KNEE DEEP in the old EU, featuring everything from the Imperial Remnant to Mara Jade to Kyle Katarn. So, unless EA wants to stay the course and risk confusing their core audience, they'll have to reboot the franchise in order to make it all fit together.

Which is why this entry is for a revival of Jedi Knight not for a full on sequel. A sequel ain't gonna happen, but a relaunch of the series in the new continuity might just be what we need.
