Yet, he took 3rd person shooters into groundbreaking territory by blending cinematic action, historically inspired narratives, and awesome set pieces into one powerful gaming package. Each new journey that Drake embarked on progressively upped-the-ante with what fans could expect. Our wise-cracking protagonist escaped collapsing buildings, thrust himself into jet-ski chases, and survived sinking cruise ships. This was all a walk in the park for Drake, and all he needed to do was make a wise-crack to escape a deadly situation. Naughty Dog stepped up the standards for shooters within the video game industry with the Uncharted franchise, and it's a great feeling to know that we were able to experience it alongside one of Sony's newest legends.
